Our Wedding Day
We hope all of you can join us in celebrating the joining of our two families on August 23, 2019.
The Ceremony
The venue Apple Blossom Chapel and Gardens is located in the country near the little town of Fennville, Michigan. It is planned to be an outdoor wedding, with the option of moving indoors if the weather requires it, but we hope to stay outside! Show up anytime after 5pm, as that’s when our reservation starts!
Following the Ceremony, the wedding party will be taking photos with the photographer then heading to the reception.
The Reception
The reception will take place at Villa Santaniello in Stevensville, Michigan (the banquet hall attached to Santaniello’s restaurant.)

WE FIRST MET – SEEMS LIKE YESTERDAY!
Shootin’ skeet with the boys… That was our first date! Ashley loves to tell everyone how Sam really threw her into the pit on that one. She held her own that day.

WE STARTED GOING STEADY
Talking to one another as much as we could…. Seeing each other as often as we could find time, on weekends and reining horse shows, we started going steady.

WE FELL IN LOVE INSTANTLY – WELL ALMOST!
It’s hard to say just exactly when we both “fell” in love, but we think it’s safe to say we both fell fast and we both fell hard. And we couldn’t help but dream of the future we had together.
… AND HE PROPOSED!
Disguised as just another Fourth of July/Anniversary – Sam convinced Ashley to make the drive from Brighton to St. Joseph.
He had it all planned out – down to the minute she would arrive… That was until Ashley pulled an “Ashley” and texted to so graciously exclaim that she got out of work early and would be there no less than 2 HOURS EARLY…
You know what they say, The rest is history.

Fine Details
Here are a few questions we find ourselves asking when we attend weddings:
If you are still reading, you’ll notice we really only have one thing on our registry, and that is a Honeymoon Fund to help us pay for our Honeymoon Cruise to the Bahamas. Seeing as we don’t currently have a house. We couldn’t think of anything that either of us really NEEDED.
Please arrive no earlier than 5:00pm – the ceremony will actually start at 5:30pm but we have to put 5:20 for Sam’s Dad.

Yes! Plenty of parking and bathrooms at the ceremony and reception.
This will hopefully be an outdoor wedding, so dress accordingly, and keep your fingers crossed for us!
YES! And post/tag them all on social media with #AshleyplusSam so we can find them.
We have the room until midnight. Don’t feel obliged to stay and dance with us, butttttt someones gotta do it.

Please do not feel obligated to get us anything for our wedding. It means the world to us that you simply be there to celebrate with us, and we truly couldn’t ask for anything more. Not to mention we don’t currently have a house, so we wouldn’t be able to use the traditional pots and pans!
